English intervention in Catalonia

Thanks to Rampjaar, who pointed me at the following publication:

God save Catalonia

See also this link for more details (which points to the
http://desperta-ferro-ed.blogspot.com/ blog). It is good to have more publications on this somewhat forgotten theater of the War of the Spanish Succession.

There is more interesting information on the Desperta Ferro blog in the posts from September 10 and especially the one in January about additional resources to complement the book.

For the opposing Bourbon view, there is a biography of King Philip elsewhere, which talks about some of these same campaigns.

I do remember finding an older book in a library in the 70's that talked about the campaigns in Spain and Portugal, in English, but have no idea what book that was unfortunately.

@mekelnborg
Thank you for the further info. Will look into that!

There is a book by Alen Devid Francis (1975), called the first Peninsular War 1702-1713. Was pretty ok if I recall correctly, but focused mainly on the politics. And there is History of the War of the Succession in Spain by Henry Stanhope from the 1830s.
